The Step-by-Step Guide for Uploading PS Form 1583

Access the USPS Business Customer Gateway (BCG):
Sign in or create a new account if you don't have one
Sign In to CMRA Services:
Once logged in, select "Mailing Services" and then choose "Go to Service" under CMRA.
Add a New Customer:
Click on "1583" in the CMRA dashboard toolbar.
Select your CMRA location from the dropdown menu.
Click "New 1583" to open the application form
Complete the Application Form:
Fill in all required fields, including customer information and identification details.
Ensure that the customer provides two forms of identification: one photo ID and one address ID.
Accepted ID types include:
Photo ID: Driver’s license, passport, military ID, etc.
Address ID: Lease agreement, utility bill, voter registration card, etc.
Note: Credit cards, Social Security cards, and birth certificates are not accepted as identification.

Upload Required Documents:
In the "Documents to Upload" section, upload:
A scanned copy of the completed and signed PS Form 1583.
Scanned copies of the customer's two forms of identification.
Accepted file formats include JPEG, PNG, GIF, PDF, and RAW
Submit the Application:
After completing the form and uploading all necessary documents, click "Submit to USPS".
Confirmation and Status:
Once submitted, the customer's status will appear as "Active" in your CMRA dashboard.
If saved as a draft, the status will be "Draft", and you can return to complete it later.
